Twyne'a LaShawn Manning, NP

Twyne'a is a nurse practitioner for the Touchpoint Healthy Aging Transition Services Clinic located in south Indianapolis. She has several years of nursing experience since earning her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Louisville in 2012. She spent time working in the acute care setting as a floor nurse, and then as a travel nurse. Afterwards, she earned a doctoral degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago to become a doctor of nursing practice (DNP) focusing on adult and geriatric medicine. Before joining the Touchpoint team, she spent two years in home-based primary care.
Twyne'a is a member of Gerontological Advanced Practices Nurses Association (GAPNA). She is excited to be able to focus more on geriatric healthcare. Her passion for geriatrics stems from wanting to allow this population to have more of a voice and involvement in their healthcare.
In her free time, she enjoys being with family and friends, traveling, and attending sporting events. Twyne'a often goes by the nickname, Ne'a.

She is easy to talk to and talks to my brother with a very calm voice that he can understand.

From the first moment entering the exam room, Ms. Manning is focused on me. Her eye contact, body language, facial expressions and actions demonstrate her intent attention on all I say and do. She listens, questions, takes notes and always comes up with an effective action plan!
