Sayaka Taguchi, PA-C

Sayaka Taguchi is a family medicine physician assistant who cares for patients of all ages. She is passionate about helping people achieve a healthy lifestyle to enhance their quality of life and to decrease their risk of developing preventable health conditions.
Taking a holistic approach to care, Sayaka partners with her patients to support both their physical and mental health. She works hard to create a safe space where patients feel comfortable discussing anything that affects their well-being.
Born in Japan and raised in Sunnyvale, CA, Sayaka is fluent in both Japanese and English. She is excited for the opportunity to practice medicine in her hometown, where she can provide care to the same community that helped raise her.
Outside of work, Sayaka enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with her husband.

Thomas Busch, MD

Thomas Busch, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician. He offers personalized, full-spectrum care for patients of all ages - from newborns to older adults.
Dr. Busch specializes in managing chronic (long-term) conditions such as high blood pressure (hypertension), diabetes and obesity. He also treats acute (sudden) illnesses and injuries. His goal is to help people thrive at every stage of life.
Dr. Busch provides a range of women's health services, including prenatal care and gynecologic exams. Passionate about preventive care, he emphasizes screenings, vaccinations, mental health support and lifestyle counseling. This way, patients can stay ahead of illness and feel their best.
From complex condition management to routine check-ups, Dr. Busch addresses the unique needs of each patient he sees. Together, they create a plan for lasting wellness. "Meaningful care starts with a strong partnership, empathy and open communication," he explains.
Before becoming a physician, Dr. Busch worked as a molecular biologist and researcher. This scientific foundation guides his evidence-based approach to care.
Dr. Busch was born at El Camino Hospital and grew up nearby in Cupertino, in the heart of Silicon Valley. After completing medical training on the East Coast, he's proud to return home and care for the diverse, vibrant communities in the South Bay Area.
Dr. Busch is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and an affiliate of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). He has received several honors and awards for his academic excellence and dedication to service.
Outside of work, Dr. Busch is an outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys trail hiking, mountain biking, running and skiing.

Dr. Charlyne Julao is a board-certified family medicine doctor who practices preventative care as well as acute and chronic disease management with El Camino Health Primary Care Clinic.

Marc-Alan Iwahashi, MD

Dr. Marc Iwahashi specializes in family medicine. He has been providing care to the communities surrounding El Camino Health since 1990 and joined the Silicon Valley Medical Development team in May of 2022.
As a family medicine physician, Dr. Iwahashi treats patients of all ages. He's a strong advocate for preventing disease with a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Iwahashi is committed to caring for the physical, mental and emotional needs of his patients, as well as their families. He is fluent in both English and Japanese.
Outside his practice, Dr. Iwahashi cares for his elderly parents. He enjoys spending time with family and friends and being outdoors as much as possible.
