Memorie Nichols, PA-C, graduated from the Cornell University Weill Medical College Physician Assistant Program. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in biomedical science from Auburn University and a Master of Science in nutrition and health sciences from Emory University. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Memorie worked at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in the department of plastic and reproductive surgery. She also worked in Atlanta with the Surgical Assistants of America and Prime Health MD.

In her free time, Memorie enjoys dancing, cooking vegan dishes, being physically active, and travelling with her husband.

Christan (Chrissy) Griffin, FNP-C, began her healthcare career as a Registered Nurse after earning her Associate of Science in Nursing from Gordon College in 2004. She later continued her education through earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington, and her Master of Science in Nursing, with a specialization in family practice, from Columbus State University. She is nationally board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board.
Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Chrissy worked as a nurse practitioner at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) in reconstructive plastic surgery. Prior to CTCA, she worked for Piedmont Newnan, WellStar Spalding, and Southern Regional Medical Center.
Chrissy specializes in family medicine, peri-surgical services, and wound care. Chrissy's passions in healthcare include patient centric care through enabling and encouraging her patients to be actively involved in their health care through inclusion in developing a health plan, autonomy, and education.
In her spare time, Chrissy enjoys spending time with her husband of 20+ years, two kids, and puppy (Izzy). She enjoys perusing the cart paths in PTC, bird watching, planning home renovations, and caring for her house plants.
Chrissy is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.

Mio Yanagisawa, M.D., earned her medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and completed her General Surgery residency at UC Davis Medical Center. She is board certified in general surgery. She then pursued further specialization through fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology through Emory University.

Dr. Yanagisawa specializes in the surgical and multi-disciplinary management of breast cancer care. She understands the complexity of each individual's cancer journey, and will guide patients and their families through their personalized treatment path with detailed attention, time and expertise. She also manages benign and non-surgical breast conditions. She enjoys educating patients on breast health awareness and empowering patients to be their best advocate. She has a special interest in oncoplastic surgery including hidden scar technique and the aesthetic mastectomy. She is highly skilled in the nipple sparing mastectomy approach as well.

Rebecca Ambrose, RN, MSN, CNM is a board certified nurse practitioner who earned her MSN from Case Western Reserve University, Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to that she earned her Midwifery Certification from Frontier School of Midwifery in Hyden, KY and her BSN from Emory University, Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing in Atlanta, GA.

Rebecca has over 30 years of clinical experience as a highly educated nursing professional caring for women and their families. She is dedicated to delivering the highest level of service to every patient with an ability to connect with patients of all ages.

In her spare time, Rebecca is an avid gardener and enjoys baking and spending time with family and friends.

Terri Alexander, PA earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Louisiana State University Health in Shreveport, Louisiana. She received her Bachelor of Science in biology from University of Georgia.
Terri holds certifications from the Georgia Composite Medical Board, the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant, and several other professional organizations. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Association of Physician Assistants in Obstetrics & Gynecology (APAOG).
In her spare time, Terri enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband and son.
