Dr. Laungani is a board-certified urologist who specializes in adult urology and urologic oncology. He is fellowship-trained in minimally invasive surgery (MIS) and robotic urology. A Brooklyn native, he graduated cum laude from Brooklyn College and received his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, New York. He completed his surgical internship and urology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, where he later earned a fellowship in minimally invasive and robotic surgery from the Vattikuti Urology Institute at Henry Ford Hospital under the guidance of Dr. Mani Menon. Dr. Laungani has numerous peer-reviewed publications on urological advances and robotics and has lectured and operated internationally, including Egypt, Malaysia and the Czech Republic. Dr. Laungani holds memberships in several professional organizations including the Endourological Society, the American Urological Association, the American Association of Clinical Urologists, the Georgia, Michigan and New York State Urologic Society, the Society of Robotic Surgery and the American Medical Association. Dr. Laungani maintains a strong interest in prostate cancer research and education though multiple studies and collaborations with Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University. He serves as associate professor (adjunct) at Clark Atlanta University's Center for Cancer Research and Therapeutic Development. He has received numerous professional honors and recognition for his outstanding work and has also been featured on CNN's Medical News and local medical news for "tweeting" Live Robotic Surgery in the OR.

Dr. Sand earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina's School of Medicine where he graduated with Honors. He completed his surgical internship and residency in Urology at New York University Medical Center. He received his undergraduate degree in Microbiology from the University of Georgia, graduating with First Honor status. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians Urology Specialists, Dr. Sand was the Chief Resident in Urology at the New York University Medical Center where he trained with national experts in prostate cancer, Robotic Surgery, Urologic stone disease, and Female Urologic disorders. He is board certified in urology. Dr. Sand's interests include treating patients with low testosterone, erectile dysfunction, stone disease and voiding dysfunction including male and female urinary incontinence. In his spare time, Dr. Sand enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and is also an avid college football fan. Dr. Sand strives to treat the patient as a whole and works with his patients to develop treatment plans that maximize efficacy and patient satisfaction. Gregory Mitchell, M.D. is a board-certified urologist with expertise in treating a broad range of male and female urologic problems. In addition to general adult urology, Dr. Mitchell is highly skilled in minimally invasive urologic, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery as well as endourology. Dr. Mitchell is experienced in treating prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, complex kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, and other urologic conditions with innovative and minimally invasive approaches. He also routinely performs in-office procedures such as vasectomy, cystoscopy, and prostate biopsy.

After growing up in Atlanta and graduating from Georgia Tech with a B.S. in Biology in 2005, Dr. Mitchell earned an M.S. in Biology from Penn State followed by his M.D. from Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at Tulane, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha and served as Chief Resident 2016-2017. Dr. Mitchell has authored many peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. He is a member of the American Urological Association, the Southeastern Section of the AUA, the American Board of Urology, and the Georgia Urological Association and has been recognized with several professional awards.

Dr. Mitchell works to provide comprehensive, compassionate care focused on each individual patient. He believes that in addition to technical proficiency and incorporation of cutting-edge treatments, effective communication is essential for excellent clinical care.

In addition to urology, Dr. Mitchell enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, running, cycling, soccer, and music.

Dr. Nazia Bandukwala graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in microbiology from the University of Georgia. Afterward, she went on to earn her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Bandukwala completed her internship and residency in Urology at Detroit Medical Center. Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Bandukwala completed her fellowship in female pelvic medicine, urologic reconstruction and urodynamics in Miami, Florida, during which she also published articles on urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. Additionally, she also served as a clinical instructor in the urology department at Michigan State University. Dr. Bandukwala enjoys serving the community - she is a recipient of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons Humanitarian Scholarship. She is also an active member in the Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine & Urogenital Reconstruction, Society of Women in Urology, American Urological Association, Society of International Urology, and American Osteopathic Association. Her clinical interests include refractory overactive bladder offering in office Botulinum toxin, sacral nerve stimulation, pelvic organ prolapse, stress incontinence in both men and women, urethral stricture disease, urinary fistulas, male and female sexual dysfunction, female urology, neurourology, and general urology such as kidney stones, hematuria, and voiding dysfunction. In her spare time, Dr. Bandukwala, a native of Georgia, enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends, playing sports, adventuring around the globe with her husband, and is deeply devoted to national and international public service. Christopher Keith, MD, is board certified in Urology and has been practicing in the Atlanta area since 2021. Dr. Keith specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of urological conditions, including male and female urinary problems, enlarged prostate, kidney and bladder stones, overactive bladder, male sexual dysfunction, and urological cancer. He offers some in-office procedures, using minimally invasive techniques to optimize outcomes and recovery.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, being outdoors, playing guitar, and traveling.
