Dr. Jane Lombard is a cardiologist who specializes in women's heart care and preventative cardiology, with a focus on community health. She earned her medical degree from Stanford University and holds board certifications in both internal medicine and cardiology. Dr. Lombard takes a holistic approach to care, following the philosophy: treat the patient, not the disease.

"I am really excited about our women's heart center," Dr. Lombard says. "I think we provide the care that women need and deserve. Moreover, women are usually the primary caregivers for their families, so we leverage the care of our community by taking care of women."

Dr. Lombard has extensive experience in diverse medical settings, such as academic hospitals, Veteran Affairs (VA) facilities and county hospitals. She has been a part of the El Camino Health team for the past 20 years and currently serves on its ethics committee. She also serves as a board member for the Center for Practical Bioethics and has experience teaching postgraduate medicine and participating in managed care and community work.

Outside her practice, Dr. Lombard loves being outdoors - she's completed several triathlons and backpacking trips. She also enjoys painting with oils and acrylics and participates in the local open studios and art shows.
