MUSC Health Pulmonary Medicine - Beaufort

Dr. Peter N. Manos has been in practice in Beaufort since 1992. Born and raised in Charleston, he graduated from the University of Georgia and The Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine. Dr Manos completed an Internal Medicine Residency at East Tennessee State University, followed by Fellowship training at The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. His fellowships included Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Manos opened his practice in Beaufort, Palmetto Pulmonary Medicine, PA, in 1992 and joined MUSC Health Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine in 2023. He is a staff physician at Beaufort Memorial Hospital, where he served as Chief of Staff 1996-97, Medical Director of Pulmonary Rehabilitation 1992-2023, and ICU 1992-2019. He is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society, andAmerican Academy of Sleep Medicine with AASM Laboratory Accreditation.

Dr. Manos's hobbies include fishing, hunting, and cooking.
