Danielle Krukowski, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC is a board-certified adult-geriatric acute care nurse practitioner who found her passion for cardiology as a new graduate nurse in the cardiovascular ICU over seven years ago.
Danielle began her educational journey by earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi, in 2013. Building on her strong foundation in science and incorporating her passion to help others, she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia, graduating in 2015. Her nursing career commenced in the cardiovascular intensive care unit at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia, where she provided specialized care to patients who underwent cardiac procedures and required support devices. While there, Danielle was selected to attend a national intensive Impella Clinical Expert course to facilitate unit-based education and helped to revise her hospital's targeted temperature management protocol.
Driven by her commitment to excellence, Danielle relocated to Charleston, SC, and furthered her education at the University of South Carolina, pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing. Throughout her academic pursuits, she continued contributing her expertise as a CVICU nurse by aiding in the recovery of open-heart surgery patients at Trident Medical Center. Her hard work culminated in her graduation in May of 2023. With an unwavering interest in Cardiology, Danielle enthusiastically joined the heart failure team at MUSC where she will be dedicated to delivering personalized and compassionate care to each of her patients, striving to enhance their overall health and quality of life.
