He specializes in diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal sports injuries, including fractures, sprains, arthritis, tendon injuries, and exercise-related illnesses. Josh treats these issues with medications, injections, physical therapy, bracing, and other options. He is trained in performing ultrasound-guided injections, including cortisone, biologics such as platelet-rich plasma (PCR), and viscosupplement injections.
He attended the College of Charleston for his undergraduate degree and then graduated with a master of science in Physician Assistant Studies from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2015. Dr. Stein's journey in medicine began at Georgetown University, where he earned a Master of Science in Biophysics \& Physiology before completing his Doctor of Medicine degree also at Georgetown. He then completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Following his residency, he pursued advanced fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction at Duke University Hospital. Throughout his career, Dr. Stein has been dedicated to improving patient care and advancing the field of orthopaedic surgery. He has been recognized for his research including multiple awards. His work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, covering a range of topics from hip fracture care and joint infection to resident leadership training and the mental health of orthopaedic surgeons. He has also been an editor for The University of Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Journal. Dr. Stein's commitment to leadership is evident in his experience as an Inaugural Resident for the McNulty Leadership Program at Wharton and his participation in the Wharton Leadership Program in Orthopaedic Surgery multiple times. He has also given lectures on topics such as cemented prostheses, implant design, and leadership. William Michael Pullen, MD

W. Michael Pullen, M.D. is a board-certified, fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon with a clinical focus in sports medicine. Dr. Pullen is an assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. Prior to joining MUSC, Dr. Pullen served as an orthopaedic surgeon and Lieutenant Commander in the United Stated Navy.
Dr. Pullen received his undergraduate degree from Christopher Newport University and his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. He then went on to complete his orthopaedic residency training at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. Following his residency training, he served as a staff orthopaedic surgeon in Yokosuka Japan as senior medical officer for the Department of Orthopedics. Following this, he was recruited to re-join the faculty at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth as a sports surgeon at the tertiary referral center and surgeon-training program. While there, he served as the assistant residency director and helped care for the east coast Naval Special Warfare (SEAL) team. Dr. Pullen also served as the sole orthopaedic surgeon on a 6-month humanitarian deployment on the USNS Comfort (Hospital Ship) in support of Operation Enduring Promise. He then received his M.D. from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Leddy went back to Emory University to complete his internship and residency in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He joined MUSC in 2009 after completing a fellowship in orthopaedic oncology at Emory University where he helped establish the sarcoma program and is currently the leader of the Sarcoma Disease Focus Team at Hollings Cancer Center.Dr. Leddy currently serves as the chairman of the Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine and the chief of the Musculoskeletal Integrated Center of Clinical Excellence (ICCE). Dr. Charles Reitman attended physical therapy school at the University of California San Francisco and was in private practice in Sacramento, CA, for 12 years. He then attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in the Texas Medical Center, where he also completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery and fellowship training in spine surgery. Upon completing residency and fellowship training, Dr. Reitman accepted a faculty position at Baylor and remained in Houston.
