A graduate of Western Kentucky University, she earned her medical degree at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky. Dr. Bidwell completed her fellowship training in cardiovascular disease at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where she then spent an additional year training in Interventional Cardiology.

Dr. Bidwell treats patients across the cardiovascular disease spectrum: in addition to general cardiology, her special interests are in the treatment of coronary disease, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), and left atrial appendage closure (Watchman), among others. Dr. Bidwell is incredibly passionate about partnering with her patients to ensure they understand their options and make educated treatment choices.
