I am always greeted with a warm welcome when I arrive for my appointment. I have never had to wait because they immediately check me in and check my vitals. They ask if I have any questions or if there are any changes for my chart. The doctor comes in right away after. Very pleased with this office.

I do understand that I didn't have the information chip from my CPAP machine so the Dr. was limited on what could be done. I looked at my after visit report and there were items on it that says were examined when in fact several items were not looked at by the Dr. or nurse.

First of all I wasn't gunna stay but he consistently told me that my condition was not good to leave so he tried two things that might work but they did not work and he said he might not work but this surgeon took the time to hunt me down to talk me into that surgery on my lung could mean death if I didn't take care of it so he was successful talking me into surgery and everything went perfect

I felt he was knowledgeable and appreciated him asking how I was an addressing my current illness needs (some kind of cold) on this video visit. I didn't care for the feeling of being threatened with extreme medical measures if I did not use my APAP like I should. I have been doing everything I could to keep the mask on and use the machine, but encountered multiple issues in the process. Total Respiratory was unresponsive and not helpful. When I wrote Dr. Kawak in the portal, his response was to wait until this video visit. Extremely frustrating! Fortunately, I got a mailing from Sanusom and they were able to try and help me.

I had a 15min call to explain my results to me. It lasted 8mins. The video call felt very scripted and transparent. Explained very little of the results and just said I did not have anything wrong for what I was testing for. He said I could potentially have this instead. He immediately prescribed a medication on the spot. And said in a month, come back to see if it worked or not. After that I was like hold on, I have to ask my other healthcare providers. I also asked if it could affect other medications I am currently taking. He pulled up my medication list and said, “What is this medication taken for?” I told why. He said oh yeah it does affect sleep. So he did not answer in a clear way. Apparently the prescription he prescribed for me does negatively affect my other medications, had to learn this through a Kroger pharmacist. This is harsh but I think he knows what he is prescribing to people.

I am loyal to Dr Kawak because when I first came to him with my problems, he listened to me and immediately put me in a sleep study to figure out the problem. I feel he saved my life.

Dr.Kawak has overseed my condition for a few years. He is succinct in what I need to do to make improvements, and kind in understanding full compliance doesn't always happen. I feel secure in letting him know how I manage my health at home, without feeling ashamed I don't always hit the mark. His kind reminders are helpful, since I forget the details as I feel better.

He is a new doctor for me and I have not spent a lot of time with him but I feel very positive about the time I have.

A video call ended up being a phone call due to poor video reception. Call only lasted the most 5 minutes but yet being charged for a 30 to 45 minute office visit. And also need to add had to wait for a minute or two for doctor to join then video call that again had ended up to be a 5 minute if even that long phone call.
