Dr. Basom is very empathetic and compassionate when I'm explaining my medical concerns to him. He listens closely to my medical concerns and makes sure my concerns are met.

DR. BASOM IS THE BEST!! HE IS SO PATIENT AND UNDERSTANDING WITH KIDS.

My direct interaction with Dr. Basom is very positive. I believe that he listens, and is very concerned about making sure that you understand what he is saying and doing. The downside with the practice is that they do not seem focused on patient to provider care, meaning everything goes through the portal and the ownness is on the patient to stay up to date. I do not like that. I prefer to have direct communication with the office rather than have to log in to check for doctor's notes on Mychart. For example, I called and left a message for Dr. Basom and spoke with someone directly. She said that she would send him a message and they would get back to me. No one ever called back. Instead, I got a call from a specialist 40 minutes away saying that I had been referred. That left a bitter taste in my mouth that no one from the office could bother to return my call and explain what he wanted for next steps.

Dr Basom has been great about listening to me and providing quality care.

Best doctor I've had in 20 years.

When I first came to him, I was at my lowest I just had breast surgery and found out. I was a diabetic, and I had a whole meltdown and that man did not know me. I didn’t know him and yet he was still very patient and kind and he helped me a lot.

He made me feel heard since I haven't been to the doctor in a long time. Anything that was bothering me health wise was addressed and a plan was put in place.

I love the fact that he listens to my concerns and acknowledges them but I sometimes feel like he contracts me out to other doctors? It may be that he knows his limitations and doesnt want to steer me wrong but this is my only concern now. Still would go to him in future.

It’s normally only once a year when I get to see Dr. Basom. that’s a shame because the doctor is overly dedicated and so thorough in our meetings. he goes far beyond my needs and asking me multiple times what he can do for me. You gotta love that.!!!!

He listens and understands to his duty as a caregiver. He provides safety in the information that he presents and knowledgeable about the differences in diagnosis that are similar .

Dr Basom is consistently one of the best providers I've had. He listens, he addresses issues without judgement, and overall he's a good doctor. I had a concern that I was worried about bringing up because it was impacted by my cultural views as part of a minority group, and when I did he was very understanding, non judgemental, and allowed my needs and beliefs to guide my care.

Dr. Basom is a very professional and caring physician and I truly appreciate it.
