Dr. Heyer came to Community Physician Network after completing the podiatric surgical residency at Community Health Network. He grew up in Wisconsin, has worked in medical research in South Dakota, and received his doctorate in podiatric medicine at Des Moines College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery.
He enjoys the extensive spectrum of pathology he can treat in the foot and ankle. Dr. Heyer is qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and happily shares his experience with the residents and students at Community. He is eager to spend his efforts improving the community he serves.
Dr. Heyer loves to participate in the food, outdoors, and sports scenes with his wife and children in Indiana. He has a daughter and a son, both of whom were born in Indianapolis. Two puppy rescues round out the household.
