Dana Michelle Fluhler, CNM, MSN

Dana M. Fluhler, CNM, MSN, is a certified nurse midwife who earned her master's in nurse midwifery from the University of Cincinnati. She spent 20 years as a bedside RN in labor and delivery, and also spend eight years in nursing leadership and administration of a level III perinatal center. She has served on a fetal infant maternal review board as well as in leadership for the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Indiana.



She practices women's-centered care with such areas of specialization as prenatal, antenatal and postnatal care, preconception counseling, and pregnancy prevention including long-acting reversible contraception.



In her free time, she enjoys boating, wake surfing and relaxing at a lake and in the Virgin Islands.



Our midwives offer meet and greet appointments to anyone who would like to learn more about midwifery care at Community. Come and tour our beautiful space, meet our team, and ask any questions you may have. Each session is 30 - 60 minutes long. Please call our office to schedule your meet and greet. Note: We are unable to offer tours if there are active respiratory illness visitor restrictions at the hospital.
