Dr. Evan Armington is a board-certified, fellowship-trained, sports medicine specialist and general orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Armington has cared for athletes and non-athletes of all ages and abilities, including members of the Baltimore Ravens professional football team, Baltimore Blast professional indoor soccer team, Washington Nationals professional baseball team, and Indy Fuel professional hockey team.
Dr. Armington currently provides orthopedic care for the athletes of the University of Indianapolis. In addition, Dr. Armington provides orthopedic care for Perry Meridian High School as team physician and provides surgical care for patients at both Community Hospital South and St. Francis Hospital.
Dr. Armington received his doctorate in medicine from Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. Dr. Armington also completed an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.
Dr. Armington was raised in Indianapolis and is honored to have the opportunity to care for the people of his hometown. He is a family man who enjoys competitive sports and triathlons.
