Javeria Bhawal, MD

Javeria Bhawal, M.D., earned her Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery degree from Islamic International Medical College in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Jamaica, NY. Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Bhawal completed her fellowship in rheumatology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and American College of Rheumatology and is fluent in Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi. In her spare time, Dr. Bhawal enjoys interior designing and spending time with her children. Dr. Bhawal welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
