Dr. Jose Moreno was born in Bloomington, Indiana and holds dual citizenship in the United States and Venezuela. He commenced his general surgery internship at Indiana University and completed his general surgery residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. After residency, he went on to receive his fellowship training in minimally-invasive and colorectal surgery at Colorectal Surgical Associates of Houston and the Texas Medical Center affiliated hospitals. Dr. Moreno's primary interests are in the fields of minimally-invasive, laparoscopic and open abdominal surgery.

Dr.Moreno is a excellent physician. Is kind he listen and he answered questions that I have. He goes out his way to take pictures of what he did because I'm interested in my body.
