Dr. Windnagel is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. She received her bachelor's degree in neuroscience from the University of Virginia before earning her doctorate degree in clinical psychology from the University of Indianapolis. Dr. Windnagel is passionate about integrating behavioral health services in primary care settings and working with undeserved and marginalized populations, particularly individuals who identify as LGBTQ+. Dr. Windnagel completed her psychology internship at the Alaska Family Medicine Residency and her post-doctoral fellowship in Primary Care Mental Health Integration at the VA St. Louis Health Care System.
In her free time, Dr. Windnagel enjoys hiking, cross-stitching and exploring parks with her rescue dog, Gus.
