Dr. Welsch was kind, professional, and explained things to me. My husband and I appreciated his guidance with plans for moving forward.

I accidentally went to the wrong office for my appointment. They called to see if he could still get me in if I went to the office he was working out of. They agreed to get me in the same day. Very little wait time and accomplished everything I needed done.

Dr Welsch is very friendly, capable, good at answering questions and includes the patient in his own health decisions.

I am very happy with the results of both visits with Dr. Welsch. If my second injection for tendinitis doesn’t work then I have full confidence that he can fix it surgically.

He encouraged me to continue stretching my fingers and demonstrated the exercises. He also shared that doing a scar massage was good and wait a day.

Dr. Welschs front staff at the CH ortho Noblesville location was excellent. The front staff at the Shadeland office cared more about her phone than patients.

He has a great personality explains everything so you understand and he was very kind and gentle his whole staff was we really appreciate Dr Welsch

We have been attempting to find out why my son’s arm went flaccid since September and by the end of his appointment the doctor had a plan and we had a much better idea of what was going on. He took time with my son and understood what issues could be related to his Down syndrome diagnosis.

10/10 Highly recommend. Very knowledgeable and good at what he does. I was referred to him for an emergency surgery on my wrist. Surgery and recovery went so well and the staff was so amazing that I also am having him do my carpal tunnel surgeries.

Poor bedside manner, spoke at me, not to me, aggravated regarding questions, continued to mention he doesn’t usually address multiple things hence the reason I was sent to the specialist to gain better understanding. Which I left feeling uncomfortable and as though I was being problematic. Overall, he would not be a provider I’d trust to care or do his best to treat my conditions at the highest quality. Because of this experience I would not even want to see a provider in the office for fear of the same treatment. Also, I’m newer to the state so this experience is unfortunate for me. Thank you.

Dr Welsch takes the time to talk to me, explain options, and answers questions. He is friendly.

I saw him 2 months ago; he handed me a list of therapists I could contact for my injured shoulder and walked out. No follow up whatsoever for 2 months, so I scheduled myself in to ask for help. Again, he left the room within 5 minutes, saying someone would schedule an MRI. I was then walked out by someone else, with no information on when I might hear back on the MRI. Not at all what I've experienced with Community Health from any other physician.

Dr. Welsh is the best in ortho specialist. He is the cream of the crop I wouldn’t change a thing.

Dr. Welsch is very knowledgeable about what is going on with your issue. He comes into the exam room with all the knowledge to help with your issue. He will explain options, go over options with you so that you can pick the best option that works for you. I will keep seeing Dr. Welsch for issues that I have.

Everything that Dr Welsch explained to me was so spot on I had no questions and more importantly no concerns.

Dr. Welsch performed a nonsurgical treatment for my Dupuytren's contracture that was most successful. I am now able to flex and use all the fingers of my previously affected hand in a way I haven't been able to for many years. As a patient I would give Dr. Welsch an A++ on the results from my procedure.

I don't feel like Dr Welsch was fully listening to me. I believe he saw mild arthritis in my x-ray and made a diagnosis before he walked into the room. I do not agree with his diagnosis. When I began asking questions about his diagnosis, he treated me like I wasn't listening to him, and repeated verbatim everything he said. He was polite, but he seemed hurried, and he only looked for arthritis pain in the bones. I do have very mild arthritis in that hand, but I was complaining of severe & worsening pain in a ligament or tendon that traveled from my thumb to my elbow. The pain increases to 9 on the pain chart when I use the thumb heavily, so I am in progress of obtaining a second opinion somewhere else. The rest of the staff was very friendly and attentive.

Doctor Welsch is the only one I trust for my needs, He is very knowledgeable of his craft, very thorough at his appointments, so that the patient knows exactly what is going on with their issue, and is an excellent surgeon.

This was the third issue with my hands for which I have seen Dr. Welsch. He has always been prompt, professional and completely approachable. He takes the time to answer all questions and explains the tests and potential treatments. My first two issues had excellent results and I expect the same this time.
