Very easy to talk to. Very honest and direct when discussing medical matters. While still being friendly and easy to talk to.

Dr Ipema does a really good job making sure baby is healthy and is very knowledgable and a good doctor when it comes to all things baby and pregnancy. However if you are having a hard pregnancy, he tends to be a bit insensitive and will not put focus on minimizing symptoms unless a pill can be prescribed for it. He often speaks to me as if I just need to suck it up if i am experiencing anything outside of the normal for pregnancy simply because other women go through it too. As a FTM who has never gone through any medical issues until being pregnant, id prefer a doctor that was a bit more sensitive and dedicated to helping me be more comfortable throughout dealing with these issues.

He is always willing to answer any questions that I have. I don’t feel rushed or like I am just another patient.

It is thanks to Dr. Ipema that I am having a baby! Never thought I'd get the chance to be a mother, and thanks to him taking the chance with me my baby boy will be here in August. I'll forever be grateful for him!
