Compassionate and listened to my concerns

I would highly recommend Dr. Rachel Jones Leland. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. She explained things thoroughly and answered any questions I had. I am very pleased that I chose her!

She shows concern for her patients

I felt like she was rushing through the appointment and was very clinical about everything. She could have had a warmer bedside manner. I felt very dismissed by her anytime I asked a question. I think she needs to think about the fact that the people coming in the see her are their for their bodies, not just her “job”. And also that most of us haven’t gone to medical school so we may have questions or need more information. She basically told me to “not worry” about a condition I have that is completely new to me. I would have preferred her to explain wheat everything meant instead of of saying “don’t worry about it”. Just seemed very cold and disconnected from the fact that this is my health and wellbeing we are talking about, not a textbook.

She is very passionate! Makes you feel welcomed and that you are in a safe space. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Dr. Leland is awesome. She cares and shows interest in how you are doing. Always makes you feel comfortable and very knowledgeable.

Dr. Leland is a fantastic physician. She is always thorough in presenting the courses of action and the associated details, and provides clear responses to patient questions. I have recommended her to others looking for an OB/Gyn.

As before. Though I am a patient I was very anxious/nervous throughout the appointment. Dr. Leland and her medical student were extremely patient with me while moving forward to figure out the next steps to move forward and figure out what was going on.

She took her time and explained things in detail. I felt very comfortable with her.

When I had my first child at another hospital, it was extremely traumatic for many reasons. I was in the absolute WORST pain of my entire life for MONTHS afterwards. During this birth, it was a scheduled c-section and she listened to all of my concerns and was so gentle during the surgery. I was also NEVER in pain the entire time after during recovery. Since day one, I have felt great, as if I never even had a c-section. I would ONLY ever trust her if I ever had future children, but also with anything else. She even made my IUD insertion very easy and she was very honest about questions and what she was doing the entire time. I will never not praise this woman, she is phenomenal and I’m so thankful I found her!

Excellent experience, the doctor is very good and communicative

I’m grateful that Dr. Leland met with us for our weekly OBGYN check. I am just very particular who handles the delivery of my first child. Our OBGYN is Dr. Voelkel.

She was great! She truly listened to my concerns and addressed them efficiently.

Dr. Leland stepped in for my care while my doctor was out of the office. This was my first time while pregnant being seen at Community. Given I had an issue with my pregnancy, I didn't feel she cared to ask questions or hear my concerns. She was eager to move on to the next patient.

Throughout my pregnancy, Dr. Leland provided good care. However, I ended up with an induction due to complications with blood pressure. After delivery I was monitored and sent home. A week later ended up in the ER (At a different hospital) with a severe blood pressure reading. Once released from this hospital, I had to go back to triage three times before finally being admitted. Once admitted, I felt like the only doctor that truly listened to our concerns was Dr. Tillman. Throughout the process, I never heard from Dr. Leland or her office. She stopped in my room for 2 minutes on the day I was released and I felt a little disappointed in the care during that situation.

She is phenomenal! The absolute best there is!

I did not feel rushed at all during my visit. That was important to me.
