Rajesh Mallela, MD, joined Community Howard Regional Health in 2013. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, echocardiography and nuclear medicine. Additionally, Dr. Mallela is certified as a registered physician in vascular interpretation.
Dr. Mallela received his medical degree from Mysore Medical College, India. He did his internal medicine residency at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, North Chicago, Illinois, and served as a hospitalist at Ball Memorial Hospital. He was chief fellow in cardiology at Tulane University, New Orleans, and did an interventional cardiology and peripheral vascular fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
