Dr. Richard Ofstein was born in Indianapolis and grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He obtained his degree in cellular and molecular biology from the University of Michigan. Following his undergraduate degree, he returned home for medical school at the University of South Dakota School of Medicine. He then completed his general surgery residency at Indiana University, followed by his vascular surgery fellowship at St. Louis University. He is board certified in vascular surgery. His special interests include the endovascular treatment of aortic and peripheral vascular disease.

I have only had about 15 minutes of interaction with him so it is hard for me to write him. That was a first consult. I then had an ultrasound tech and a chat on the phone because his microphone and camera did not work so it was not a video visit
