Robert Sutter, DNP, PMHNP, MPA

Robert Sutter is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who sees patients full-time at the Primary Care clinics with MUSC. He completed his Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from the University of South Carolina. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at the University of Kentucky.





Robert likes to blend classic Stoic thinking with the modern scientific approach of psychopharmacology. Clinical interests include mood disorders, anxiety/panic disorders, trauma, and substance use disorders with the goal of harm reduction.
