The time and consideration this doctor took with my visit was appreciated. Knowledgable, relatable and understanding were three adjectives I could use to describe our first interaction.

He made me feel like he really cared about how I felt and how I was feeling at the time. He described everything that was happening and going to happen in a way that I could understand it and I was very thankful for that. He knows what he’s doing and he has all my trust.

He addressed a problem with my current meds that I’ve been complaining about for years with my primary provider but couldn’t find a solution. I’m already feeling more like myself with this new medication regimen.

First meeting him - he took time to talk with me.

Dr Tahir was pleasant and offered me encouragement. When I asked questions about things like the Mediterranean diet and weight loss injections-he printed off information for me to take home. That was so helpful. He also said that if I lost 30 lbs, I would be able to decrease some of the meds I am. I felt very encouraged after my first meeting with him yesterday. He took an interest in my questions and the things I cared about. I felt seen, heard, and valued.

I have seen Dr Tahir twice since Dr Sheila Gamache retired. He has been excellent and I believe that I could not have found a better Cardiologist to take the place of Dr Gamache

He reviewed my record thoroughly and based on what he saw he decided not to recommend a particular medication that had been previously prescribed (after he consulted with the other physician who had prescribed it)

A special doctor who cares about patients

I had just gotten comfortable with my previous Cardiologist before he decided to move. I was apprehensive about seeing anyone else. But immediately after my appointment with he put all my concerns to rest. He has a great personality and it shows in his care and concerns for his patients. He also has a great staff to support his practice.

Dr. Tahir spent a lot of time with me and my wife at my recent appointment. He was also successful and obtaining my medical records from Hancock and from my cardiologist in Virginia. He personally called me back to let me know he got them and clarified some of the instructions he gave me at our appointment.
