317-621-6900Dr. Ashish Aggarwal was born and raised in Patiala, India. He received his medical school training from the premier All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India. He completed his internship and internal medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland in 2012. Following this, he joined Indiana University School of Medicine for specialty training in gastroenterology and hepatology. His research has focused on inflammatory bowel diseases, pancreatic disorders, liver cirrhosis and liver transplant.
Dr. Aggarwal enjoys providing care for all gastrointestinal ailments, with special interest in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), colon cancer screening and liver disorders.
Dr. Aggarwal is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He joined Community Gastroenterology Care in 2015 and sees patients at both the north and east offices.
He is an avid NBA follower and loves watching tennis. He and his wife, Kanika, are eagerly awaiting their first baby this fall.
