She did not listen to my concerns about my perimenopausal symptoms. She was condescending. She treated me like a child. She said she didn’t prescribe testosterone and didn’t give a good reason why. She only suggested for me to read a book about libido. Testosterone is a naturally hormone that women produce and if low, then we should be able to get it prescribed. She refused to let me get that checked. She only let me get my estrogen and FSH checked when knowing they would be normal and to shut me up. She didn’t ask me about any other of my symptoms or concerns. Just checked off boxes for checking cervix/breasts/lungs. She does not seem educated on the new findings/research for HRT and perimenopausal symptoms for women in their 40s.

Dr. Rasmussen was amazing! She is very friendly and knowledgeable, and explained the appointment to me as it was happening.

I was so nervous waiting on her that I was sweating. I hadn't been to a OBGYN in 6 years. But after being reprimanded by both my NP and my PC, it was time. She made my first appointment and annual exam a breeze. She talked through the whole thing, didn't make it strange. Before you knew it it was over and we were talking about birth control options. I would recommend Dr. Rasmussen to any woman! Thank you for making me feel comfortable in a very UNcomfortable setting.

Dr. Rasmussen really cares about my overall health. I feel like I she really wants to hear what I have to say.
