I have only seen him twice, both times for consultation. We have yet to schedule a surgery, pending insurance approval, and therefore I have no way to evaluate his surgical skills. Once I've recovered from that I'll be better able to evaluate his expertise and success of the procedure.

Good... honest... gets down to the nitty-gritty.

He is very excellent anything that he has done like surgery he shows you right up on the screen he talks about it with you. See if you have any questions and understand what he is saying to you about what he needs to do or if he’s already had surgery on you, he explains everything along the way and he is awesome and great thank you, Dr. Hanson thank you.

I only met him for a brief consult. He confirmed my suspicions that my problem was potentially serious and set about a conservative process to deal with it. I will know more about him the next time we meet after I've worn the compression stockings for two weeks and have had the ultrasound on my veins. At this point I feel well informed, am able to research the problem and come back with more questions, and feel he hasn't immediately jumped to a conclusion until all steps are done. He is pleasant and patient and, I felt, thorough. We'll see how the next meeting goes. So far I feel confident in his plan and capability.
