"Dr. Carlson earned his medical degree from the University of Utah's School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah. He fulfilled his internship and residency in internal medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He completed a fellowship in cardiology at the Texas Heart Institute through the Baylor College of Medicine, located in Houston, Texas.
