Born and raised in central Ohio, Dr. Thompson's interest for surgery began during his years of undergraduate studies at The College of Wooster completing his B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology while also shadowing various orthopedic physicians. He subsequently attended medical school at Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in Columbus, OH. Dr. Thompson then completed an orthopedic foot and ankle reconstructive fellowship at Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Center located in Columbus, OH.
