Patrick S Coleman, MD

Dr. Coleman earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He completed his internship and residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. Dr. Coleman is board certified in internal medicine. He joined the Piedmont healthcare team in 1994 as a hospitalist and now practices at Piedmont Physicians Group at Atlantic Station. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Medical Association of Georgia, Medical Association of Atlanta and the American College of Physicians. He is a member and fellow of the American College of Physicians, the national Internal Medicine organization.

In addition, Dr. Coleman is the Chief Medical Officer of Primary Care for Piedmont Physicians group. Dr. Coleman takes a team approach to medicine. He believes care revolves around the patient and is committed to patient well-being and satisfaction. He is interested in general internal medicine and takes a special interest in treatment of diabetes, HIV, hypertension, and high blood cholesterol. In his spare time, Dr. Coleman enjoys hiking, travel and spending time with his family and dogs. Dr. Coleman welcomes most major insurance plans.
