Raj Kumar Kothari, MD

Dr. Raj Kumar Kothari is an emergency medicine physician at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. He earned his undergraduate and medical degree in a combined biology/M.D. program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and completed his internship and residency in emergency medicine at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dr. Kothari is board certified in emergency medicine. Dr. Kothari is board-certified in emergency medicine and has been practicing emergency medicine for 12 years. He received the Physician of the Year Award in 2011 from Eastside Medical Center and has also won the SAEM Award for excellence in emergency medicine and the American College of Physicians Award for excellence in physical diagnosis. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Georgia College of Emergency Physicians.
