Dr. Buszek completed her medical degree at University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and radiation oncology residency at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. She is a Community Health Network MD Anderson Cancer Center participating provider.
Dr. Buszek has performed medical research at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Cincinnati Children's Hospital, Kettering Medical Center, the Jewish Hospital and the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She has presented her findings at national conferences and published in numerous medical journals. She has written book chapters on stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), management of thymomas and thymic carcinomas, and the use of radiation therapy in leptomeningeal disease. She has developed and conducted her own clinical trial for patients with brain metastases.
She is a member of Radiologic Society of North America, American Society for Radiation Oncology, Society for Women in Radiation Oncology, and the American Association for Women Radiologists.
In her spare time, she enjoys being outside with her husband and two children. She also enjoys exercising, baking cakes and doing crafts.

Dr. Buszek is very good at her job! She is thorough and she herself called me to deliver some news about my mom's condition. She goes above and beyond and you can just feel that she cares about her patients and their family's.
