Friendly, caring, personable and witty. Carry's a conversation to put patient at ease. Treats you as a person and not just a paid appointment. Genuinely cares about you. After a full year, he acknowledged a couple of non-medical personal aspects that simply amazed me. In my experience, less than 1% of doctors would bother.

He is trying to titrate my medication to help control my blood pressure. Currently, if my BP is over 180 mmHg Systolic reading, I take 1/2 of my Tribenzor medication. As long as I don't eat afterwards, it controls my BP better than the new medication—a work in progress.

Dr Lakhan is genuinely concerned and dedicated to helping me resolve my cardiac, blood pressure, and circulation conditions that have led me to having two strokes just days apart. He continues to work with Dr. Purohit and Dr Cline to ensure that I receive the necessary care in a timely and expeditious manner. He took the time to call me the following Monday, advising me he wants me to add another BP medication to help stabilize my blood pressure, which is experiencing extreme fluctuations.

He listen very closely made sure I understood what he had to say he is very respectful he is very concerned of the patients well being.

As mentioned earlier in this survey, I will be actively looking to change my cardiologist and to a different practice in general. The nurses have been awesome, but the doctor himself, along with the girl scheduling, have made me want to leave.

Dr. Lakhan is an excellent cardiologist. He’s always treated us with respect, answers our concerns, questions and explains clearly the who, what, where and why to my questions and that gives me comfort and confidence in his service. I’ll recommend him to everyone without hesitation.

If you aren't going to invest in the situation of improving the patients quality of life don't practice.

I told him that the first two medications he recommended (at my previous appointment) would not work because I was allergic to the inactive ingredients in one and highly sensitive to the inactive ingredients in the other. He then prescribed a third at this visit without even checking the inactive ingredients, which honestly disturbed me. I had also expressed concern about the side effects of one of the first two medications he recommended. He did not even mention possible side effects of the third one that he actually prescribed, and when I checked, that drug had inactive ingredients to which I am sensitive and side effects so severe that they require continual blood tests to monitor for them, as well as side effects that could potentially make my asthma worse. This is a problem!!

Really don’t get the video preference…especially when we’re not seeing each other…. Like I said prior, a phone call could have provided the same results….

Very warm. Always shakes your hand before and at the end. Has a nice sense of humor and very easy on the eyes.

I was taken in promptly when I arrived, the nurse was pleasant, friendly and efficient. Likewise, with the doctor. When I left, I knew that I had chosen the right physician.

I broke my wrist and I need to have surgery, but I’ve had some issues with my heart so I was introduced and sent to Dr. Lakhan and he was very sympathetic to me about my wrist… So he schedule me to have a echo stress test just to see if there was any indication of a problem… And there was so now I’m scheduled to have a heart Cath done on Wednesday… But he sat down and talked to me about all of it and the possibilities and told me that he did not feel comfortable just letting me have the surgery without checking so he was very thorough and very kind and he explained everything in detail of what would be happening and he said that he would do his very best at getting me checked out with my heart as quick as he could so that I could have my wrist surgery… I’m from Texas and I’ve never had better healthcare than I’ve had here since I broke my wrist… I’m thankful that I was sent to Dr. Lakhan
