Dr. Gallican is GREAT with both parents and kids. With our other kids, we've seen doctors interested in only the kid or only the parents. Dr. Galligan listened to us, answered our questions and spoke about next steps. His patience with scared parents was incredible BUT he also interjected conversation with our 5 year old and took interest in what he was saying/doing. Example - to ease the fear of blood draws, we explained they were like our science experiments at home. He thinks we are testing his blood for super hero capabilities. He named himself "Super Goose!!"When we told his story, to explain why the family wore capes, he engaged my son but also wrote super goose on his notes. Then called him that nickname. He didn't have to but he took the time to make it easier on all of us. Meant the world to us and my 5 year old was EXCITED for his next blood draws that day.
