Emily Bay received her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University. She completed a combined Internal Medicine and Psychiatry residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. Following residency, she completed a fellowship in Interventional Psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina. After fellowship, Dr. Bay has remained at MUSC as faculty. Her areas of interest include electroconvulsive therapy, transcranial magnetic stimulation, vagus nerve stimulation, deep brain stimulation, and ketamine for the treatment of neuropsychiatric conditions.
