Heather Gail Hartlin, APRN, MSN

Heather Hartlin, APRN, MSN, CNRN, is a highly experienced health care professional with a rich background in advanced practice nursing. Currently a Nurse Practitioner at MUSC Health General Neurology in Lancaster, South Carolina, Heather brings extensive expertise to her patients. Before relocating to the Carolinas in 2021, she held key roles at the Clinical Practices of the University of Pennsylvania in the Department of Neurology.





Heather has managed a wide range of cognitive and neurological conditions, including administering and analyzing cognitive tests, formulating diagnoses, and overseeing diagnostic tests. Her expertise spans various neurological disorders such as headaches, stroke follow-up, sleep apnea, and neurodegenerative diseases. She has also provided care for patients with complex syndromes and disorders.





In addition to her work in neurology, Heather has demonstrated leadership in critical care settings. She is actively committed to professional development, engaging with organizations and committees such as the American Association of Neuroscience Nursing and the American Academy of Neurology. Her certifications as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) underscore her dedication to excellence in patient care.





Heather holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Widener University, both in Philadelphia. She is licensed as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in South Carolina.
