A Lexington County native, Dr. Hook graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Biology from Presbyterian College and earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He completed his residency at Greenwich Hospital/Yale-New Haven Hospital, gaining a strong foundation in Internal Medicine under the mentorship of Dr. David Morris, a revered figure in the field.
