Julianna Youssef, FNP, DNP, APRN

Julianna Youssef, DNP, FNP-BC, APRN, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who cares for patients across all stages of life. She's passionate about building connections and creating a safe, supportive space where people feel comfortable discussing their health.
Julianna sees her patients as individuals, not their diagnosis. Her approach centers on treating everyone with respect and tailoring care to their unique values and goals. "Trust grows when my patients feel informed, empowered and cared for with compassion," she says.
Drawn to El Camino Health for its strong reputation in patient care and employee loyalty, Julianna is inspired by the organization's culture of excellence. She values the teamwork and continuous growth opportunities that allow her to thrive as a clinician and educator. It's rewarding for her to contribute to a community that prioritizes patient outcomes and aligns with her values.
In addition to her clinical practice, Julianna is a professor at San Jose State University, where she teaches and mentors future nurses. She remains committed to advancing nursing by shaping the next generation of healthcare providers.
Julianna is a proud member of Sigma Theta Tau, the international honor society of nursing. She is also actively involved in several professional organizations, including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the California Association for Nurse Practitioners and the Association of Women's Health.
Julianna has earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree, the highest level of clinical nursing education. Additionally, she holds a specialty certification in maternal newborn nursing (RNC-MNN). She has received multiple nominations for the DAISY Award, a national honor that celebrates extraordinary compassion and skill in nursing. She is fluent in Spanish.
In her free time, Julianna enjoys relaxing at the beach with her family, indulging in the occasional retail therapy, singing and staying grounded in her faith.
