Michelle Chau, PA-C, MPH

Michelle Chau, PA-C, MPH, is a physician assistant who specializes in urgent care. She works with patients of all ages and treats a variety of illnesses and injuries.

Michelle wants everyone to feel welcomed and valued. She offers each patient a safe space to feel seen and heard and listens carefully. Michelle also educates patients about their conditions, treatment options and prevention strategies.

Her approach to care focuses on much more than simply treating a condition. She explains, "Patient care goes beyond the individual - it's influenced by factors such as environment and access to resources. This understanding allows me to take a more holistic approach to patient care."

Michelle is proud to be a part of the El Camino Health team because she feels that its values align with her own. She appreciates that El Camino Health has remained dedicated to serving the community even as it has grown into a top-performing healthcare system.

Michelle is fluent in both English and Vietnamese.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys game nights with friends, trying out new recipes and eateries, hiking, working out, reading and tending to her plants.
