The exam was very thorough by the resident and attending, and they were kind and informative. My only minor critique is that the conversation with the attending felt a bit rushed, and I was scrambling to make sure I asked the right questions. Was difficult to assess how successful the attending physician thought the treatment might be. I have to take time off work to bring my mom to all of her doctors appts (over 20 per year), so if the TX is likely not to work, it helps me to know that. Again, this is just a minor comment. I was very pleased with everything and everyone.

The doctor told me she thinks there's damage to my optic nerve so she doesn't think another surgery will help. She did an examination of the other eye but discussed nothing about that eye with me. No treatment plan just passed me off to Dr Ayyala for him to take stitches out of my eye and tell me to go home. I wasn't given the opportunity to ask questions to either doctor and wasn't given any explanation or follow up care

Since the patient has moderate-level dementia and can't hear, this survey is being completed by a family member on her behalf. Even when the doctor stood next to her to explain information repeatedly, the patient could not remember it.

My doctor is the best I've ever had in this field. This is why I choose to come here even though I live very far away. I trust her with my care and recovery through and through

She treated me with a friendly smile, inquired about how I've been doing since my last visit and whether or not I have been experiencing any problems, symptoms or concerns. Her examination was thorough and she explained my condition in very clear and easily understandable terminology. She provided instructions about proper care of my condition as well as encouraging comments regarding aftercare and follow-up treatment. My doctor provided me with exceptional care and I would definitely recommend this care provider to others.

The doctor tried speaking loudly to me as I am very deaf and lost all my hearing aids. She was also wearing a mask and spoke with an accent which makes It challenging for me to understand. Fortunately, my son & daughter-in-law were present and understood her remarks.
