Education has been a cornerstone of Shahla's career journey. She earned her Master of Nurse Anesthesia from the University of Columbia, S.C., School of Medicine, following a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Mercy Hospital-Charlotte. This comprehensive educational background has equipped her with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel.

As a CRNA at MUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center, Shahla demonstrates proficiency in various anesthetic techniques, including general anesthesia, total intravenous anesthesia, and monitored anesthetic care. Her experience spans diverse patient populations, including adults, geriatrics, bariatrics, obstetrics, and pediatric patients. Prior to her current position, Shahla garnered invaluable experience at Carolinas Medical Center, where she worked in a Level I Trauma Center, providing anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures.

Throughout her career, Shahla has maintained active licensure as a Registered Nurse and has obtained certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). She is also a proud member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA), where she stays abreast of the latest advancements in her field.

She also serves as a facilitator in the Endoscopy Department at Carolina Medical Center, overseeing multiple rooms and ensuring efficient patient care delivery.
