317-621-7120Dr. Henderzahs completed his undergraduate degrees at Indiana University with majors in chemistry and psychology, and a minor in biology. He then earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at St. Vincent Hospital. Since 2005, he has built a very successful practice in Indianapolis, and most recently in Fishers. Dr. Henderzahs is board certified by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Henderzahs is experienced in routine and high-risk obstetrics. He is trained in traditional surgical procedures as well as the newest gynecological surgical options, including the daVinci® Hysterectomy.
With a warm and compassionate bedside manner, he strives to give all patients the exceptional care they deserve. He listens attentively to concerns from patients and their families and then creates a plan of treatment that thoroughly addresses these issues. People often ask why Dr. Henderzahs chose obstetrics and gynecology as his specialty. He has always had an interest in surgery, but during his surgical rotation in medical school he realized that general surgeons miss the long-term personal relationships with patients he wanted to have. He understands the emotional aspects of trying to conceive as well as the concerns that come with pregnancy. Being there for patients during this time is very rewarding for him. Obstetrics and gynecology lets Dr. Henderzahs have close personal relationships with patients and their families while offering them many options for their surgical and medical needs.
Dr. Henderzahs and his wife, Emily, have two beautiful daughters. He is committed to being a great husband and father. He enjoys traveling and playing golf in his spare time.

Dr. Henderzahs took care of me with each of my high-risk pregnancies, and he continues to take care of me after I stopped having children. I am very grateful for his exceptional care. I also appreciate that he has his MA in the room when he performs pelvic and breast exams.

Dr. Henderzahs exceeded all of my expectations and is a wonderful physician! He was incredibly knowledgeable and has a very calming, down-to-earth personality that put me at ease during the visit. He really took his time to talk with my husband and I, and he provided us with great information and made sure all of our questions were answered. We didn't feel rushed at all. I am grateful that I got him as my physician!
