317-887-7880Dr. Gadeela was born and raised in India. He completed his medical schooling at Osmania Medical School, graduating with high honors at the young age of 22. He then moved to East Lansing, Michigan and completed his internal medicine, cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at Michigan State University.
Dr. Gadeela is passionate about caring for his patients with coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, resistant hypertension and peripheral vascular disease. He specializes in cardiac and vascular interventional medicine - using minimally-invasive techniques to treat complex and high-risk coronary artery disease and peripheral arterial disease, as well as using mechanical circulatory support for patients in cardiogenic shock.
He uses his expertise in intravascular imaging and catheter skills to minimize the usage of radiographic contrast during stenting procedures. Patients with chronic kidney disease are at risk from contrast administration, with the injury potentially leading to permanent dialysis and mortality. He consistently performs "ultra-low contrast angiography" which significantly reduces the risk of dialysis from angiography.
He is actively involved with emergency medicine physicians, paramedics and local EMS in improving the outcomes for patients presenting with acute heart attacks.
He has received the annual Indianapolis "Top Doc" award for the past seven consecutive years for his exceptional care provided to his patients.
He is board certified in general and interventional cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and cardiac CT.

Really cares about his patients

Although Doctor was friendly, he seemed to be in a hurry. I had questions that he barelyanswered and I continued to not understand why I was there and how concerned he was about my heart. I would have liked to talk with him a bit more but he was already on his way out. Typically I would have called him back to have my questions answered however he did not seem too concerned about me putting off the echocardiogram for a few months until I have insurance.

Doctor Gadeela has my confidence in that I know he is a good surgeon and that he will fix you right the first time.
