Ruchin Gaju Patel, MD, PhD

Dr. Patel is a board certified otolaryngologist and has specialty training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. His clinical interests include functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty, facial reconstruction after skin cancer surgery, periorbital rejuvenation, facial reanimation after facial nerve injury, repair of traumatic facial fractures, scar revision, facial rejuvenation procedures utilizing both non-invasive and invasive techniques, and medical and surgical treatment of sinus disease. He also treats the full gamut of ear, nose, and throat disorders.



Originally from South Bend, Indiana, he earned his bachelor's degree from Purdue University and his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. Following medical school, he completed his residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. After completing his otolaryngology residency, he was one of forty candidates selected nationwide for a highly competitive American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship position. As such, he completed his fellowship training at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis where he spent his time focused on cosmetic and reconstructive facial surgery.
